Strange consistency but nice on the skin

As others have mentioned, it's dry and compacted inside the container and hard to dig out. I've been pushing my thumb in to loosen it up, then turn the container upside down onto my hand. I feel like I need a tool to dispense it. But once I apply it to my skin, it feels so nice. Very moisturizing and leaves behind a delicate scent that is very uplifting. I was concerned that the bottle mentions it could make the tub slippery, but mine didn't.
